World War II or the Second World War was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The vast majority of the world's countries, including all the great powers, fought as part of two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis.

After the Axis had conquered almost all of Europe, an eastern front emerged with the Soviet Union. During the war it turned out that aircraft provided an important advantage on the battlefield. The Allies helped the Soviet Union obtain aircraft through a leasing construction. The aircraft were built in the USA and transported to the Soviet Union.

In 1942, a route of airfields was constructed in USA and Canada so that the planes could be transferred via Alaska. The route is called the Northwest Staging Route. Many airports still exist and are still in use.

This mission is the first of two. This route is in North America, from Minneapolis to Gambell. All airports are part of the route, but landing is not necessary everywhere. And some airports are just no longer present, you will fly by.

The plane is parked, cold and dark. If a parking space is not available, the aircraft will be parked on the runway.

The following menus are available: ATC, NavLog, VFRMap and Weather. The season is Summer with a preset of a few clouds. GPS is available.

After landing you have to park the plane, preferably on the parking, if there is none, well leave it where you are. But, remember to close the plane down, engine off, avionics off, parking brake set, electricity off. If you omit this the leg will not close.

Enclosed

The mission has 24 legs and takes 3.081 nautical miles. Default plane is the Cessna Skyhawk 172 Sp G1000. Of course, you can change it to a plane of your liking with the MissionChanger by BuffyGC.

The trip is written in English and machine translated to, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Swedish.

The trip is made with the aid of Little NavMap and BushTripInjector. Thanks to Alexander Barthel and BuffyGC for creating and maintaining this excellent software. The information on the Northwest Staging Route is retrieved from Wikipedia.

No additional add-ons or mods are necessary. But I would advise to install PuffinFlight-We_Love_VFR-Region2

Enjoy flying and safe landings.
