IMPORTANT NOTICE: DC-3 fuel flow is currently heavily bugged. Please install the below mod for it to be accurate again. On my test trips, my calculator spits out total fuel usage within 10% of the ingame usage. Depending on flying style its pretty close.
Duckworks DC-3 Improvement Mod
This an excel worksheet I created some time ago for the VSkylabs C-47 in XP11. Data is not yet fully tweaked to the MSFS one but it should do the job.
HOW TO USE:
1. Fill out the green fields.
2. Use the power setting from the "Cruise Power Setting" Box
Have fun an report back with findings. I will tweak this more when I get more data.
It looks like a very useful tool but it doesn't seem to work for me. When I open it excel warns me about some formulas having circular references which will cause wrong calculations. I dissmised the warning, yet some red values don't seem to work for some reason. For example, if I insert a different value for distance, the flight time and fuel an basically everything else remains exactly equal. Am I missing something or is it broken?

Thank you! Have been using this for a long time with the VSL DC-3. The Aeroplane Heaven DC-3 in MSFS however has incredibly inaccurate fuel flow right now so this sheet will require some modification to work with it. I am getting roughly 60-80% higher fuel flow than I should be getting according to real world manuals in the MSFS DC3. It seems that setting the mixture to auto lean doesn't do anything at all so it's running at rich the entire time.
