Introducing Threads

We understand that regular comments on files can sometimes become overwhelming and scattered. In fact, there are add-ons with more than 30.000 comments, all scattered together and hard to follow. With threads, we provide a seamless and structured environment that allows you to engage in meaningful conversations. A place designed to enhance and organize interactions around your favorite content. Threads allow both users and creators to create topics and discuss within a specific topic - very similar to traditional forums. They also replace the groups feature from the older version of Flightsim.to.

At the moment, threads are available for all add-ons with more than 1,000 downloads. Every add-on has an Announcement and Frequently Asked Questions thread. Creators can use these threads to post their most recent updates and announcements, or they can use the Frequently Asked Questions thread to address most issues with their add-ons. While these are read-only and featured in the "Creators Announcements" tab above as well, regular users can create topics on which every user can reply to. Reinstated Requests Section

We have reinstated the long awaited requests section. The section is back and ready to cater to the ever-growing demand for custom liveries and sceneries. If you - as a creator - have successfully completed any accepted requests while the section was not available, kindly mark them as completed by August 15th to collect your well-earned Karma points.

Notably, we have made changes to improve the system's efficiency. Request ETAs can now be set for up to 14 days, compared to the previous 2-month allowance. This change aims to reduce prolonged request blocks and encourage timely deliveries, trying to stop creators from accepting more requests than they could actually deliver in a timely manner.

As before, fulfilling requests continues to earn creators Karma points and reputation. While accepted but undelivered requests previously incurred a penalty of 200 Karma, this has now been increased to double the reward as a deterrent.

Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce "Donation Points" as an additional incentive for creators as part of our Creators Program to earn more than just Karma Points. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting update in the future! Any feedback is - as usual - to be submitted through the Feedback button on the bottom right of the site.
