With 2023 State of Origin football coming fast, we thought it might be of interest for New South Wales (NSW Australia) supporters to have a livery which features the blues colours, the city of Sydney silhouette, an indigenous artist, and one of their approved works. The payware Honda Hjet HA420 seemed a great aircraft on which these elements might be combined!
The artwork of upcoming teen artist Jesse Sutton is energetic yet mature, supporting the concepts of reconciliation and inclusion, and we were very glad to have his approval to be a part of this project. Jesse's family comes originally from the Mt Isa area in remote North Queensland, but now lives in the coastal city of Bundaberg, closer to the state capital, Brisbane. The livery includes an acknowledgement of Jesse as artist, along with the URL for his web page. We would encourage members to explore his art, and read about the concepts behind it.
This livery will also soon be available for the default Citation Longitude, for those who prefer to fly that aircraft.
That is quite some stunning artwork. Especially like the cityscape with reflections effect.
