This is a repaint for the de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood (DaveWG). This repaint depicts the Dragon Rapide owned by the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA.

The MAM has owned two different Dragon Rapides, both painted nearly identically as G-ADDD. N89DH was restored by Avspecs in New Zealand and flew with the MAM until it was sold to Lewis Air Legends in 2013. The current Dragon Rapide owned by the MAM is registered as N1934D and has just been restored to airworthiness. The only way to tell the difference between the two aircraft is the emblem on the vertical stabilizer. Having flown in N89DH years ago, I knew I had to make this livery for others to enjoy virtually. Although the model is a portover and has its issues, I think it holds up nicely.
