WebRemote for FBW A32NX is a free customizable browser-based remote control for FlyByWire's A32NX that works with any modern PC, tablet or phone.
It was created to manage the aircraft systems that a flight crew most frequently interacts with during a normal flight, so that immersion-breaking use of the mouse cursor is almost not necessary anymore. This is especially useful when using a VR headset, where a second person, i.e. pilot monitoring, can assist the pilot flying. WebRemote works best when used in conjunction with FlyByWire's own SimBridge MCDU.
With that in mind, please note the following:
- WebRemote does not aim to replace or mimic cockpit indications like FMAs or any gauges,
- dimensions were deliberately chosen to facilitate the use of touch screens,
- most numeric values are entered directly instead of using real-world in- and decrement functions.
It is best to think of it more like an instructor's station rather than an external cockpit!
You will also need to install FSUIPC7 (free version) for the connection to MSFS.

This is a really neat application. I will only run it on a local monitor (not a touch screen) so my preference would be for smaller buttons (or the opportunity to resize) and then I could fit more on my screen. Great piece of work!

Depending on your browser the built in zoom-feature should work for you. I get good results on Chrome (Ctrl+Mousewheel).
You could also consider using multiple browser-tabs for different phases of flight.

Hi Paul, this seems very complicated to get this to run on a tablet, knowing what to input into the brower on the tablet, followed instruction but cant seem to get it to work. not sure what IIS is that you refer to in other comments. Its a great tool if i can get it working

IIS setup is mentioned multiple times in the instructions and mandatory if you want to have WebRemote running on an external device. I am not sure what instructions you used, but here is again the link to the (only) setup guide: https://github.com/paulalexandrow/a32nx-webremote/blob/main/README.md

Cant get it to open an external web socket. Just says access denied. Works great until I substitute localhost for IP number.

The problem then most probably lies in the setup of IIS, which admittedly can be quite tricky. In IIS, access via IP address does not work even from within the host machine, if the site is not listening on that adapter. This would be my first guess in your case.

This is a brilliant and very promising Addon.
I had several issues with FSUIPC version 7.3.16: FCU data not displayed, several buttons not working, korry/annunciators lights not working.
Switching to the latest FSUIPC version (7.3.17 right now) fixed all the issues for me. Maybe it would be useful to add as a minimum requirement the use of FSUIPC 7.3.17.

Readme does not help.
Does not run at all.
But anyway nice if you understand how to use it.
Thx

I am always trying to improve the documentation, so I am very interested to find out what your problem is.
Could you kindly define "not at all"? To start WebRemote and see at least something you literally only need to double click on an HTML file. However if you were able to open that file in a web-browser and the problem is with the connection after that, there was something wrong with your setup of FSUIPC and/or FSUIPC WebSocket. In that case I am also happy to help, but I would need a little more information for that.
