Note for v4.0.3+:
If you're having trouble with touch not registering correctly in pop out panel when using software such as Spacedesk as remote monitor, you can increase "Touch Down Touch Up Delay" in Pop Out Panel Manager preferences => Touch settings to a value above 40ms or higher to compensate for network latency depending on your computer/network speed.
Pop Out Panels in MSFS
MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager is an application for MSFS 2020 which helps pop out, save and position pop out panels to be used by utilities such as Sim Innovations Air Manager or to place pop out panels onto your screen or another monitor at predetermined locations automatically. In MSFS, by holding RIGHT ALT + LEFT CLICKING some instrumentation panels, these panels will pop out as floating windows that can be moved to a different screen location or different monitor. But this needs to be done every time you start a new flight. In MSFS since SU12, there is the capability to remember size and position of pop outs but this feature is sometimes unreliable and you still need to manually pop these panels out. MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager solves this problem by enabling automatic pop out of panels when flight starts and can be configured per aircraft.
Touch Enabled Panel
Currently, MSFS lacks touch capability for pop out panels which are being used on touch screen or on tablet. If you're using pop out panel such as GTN750, KingAir PFD/MFD, or other in game touch screen capable panel (panels that can be operated with a mouse), or built-in panels such as ATC, checklist, you can add touch capability to these panels.
Application Features
- Display resolution independent. Supports 1080p/1440p/4k display and ultrawide displays.
- Support multiple user defined aircraft profiles to save panel locations to be recalled later.
- Intuitive user interface to defined location of panels to be popped out.
- Added automatic game refocus capability when using pop out. (MSFS bug where flight control is disabled when mouse is on the pop out)
- Enable touch support for pop outs on touch capable display (direct connected monitor or on tablet using tool such as SpaceDesk).
- Auto Pop Out feature. The application will detect active aircraft and activate the corresponding profile when starting a new flight session.
- Cold Start feature. Instrumentation panels can be popped out even when they're not powered on (for G1000 / G1000 NXi planes only).
- Auto Panning feature remembers the cockpit camera angle when you first define the pop out panels. You can now pan, zoom in, and zoom out to identify offscreen panels and the camera angle will be saved and reused. This feature requires the use of Ctrl-Alt-0 keyboard binding to save custom camera view per plane configuration. (Can be configured to use 0 through 9). If the keyboard binding is currently being used. The auto-panning feature will overwrite the saved camera view if enabled.
- Fine-grain control in positioning of panels down to pixel level.
- Panels can be configured to appear always on top, with title bar hidden, or stretch to full screen mode.
- Auto disable Track IR when pop out starts.
- Auto activate Active Pause when pop out starts.
- User-friendly features such as application always on top, auto start, minimized to tray with keyboard shortcuts.
- Auto update feature. Application can auto-update itself when new version becomes available.
- Experimental: A simple HUD Bar with stop watch and sim rate functions for generic aircraft or PMDG 737 aircraft.

The MSFS default Right ALT + Left Click works , but this unfortunately is not working.

Unable to pop out this panel. Please check the source panel circle defined for this panel is at the correct location end not blocked by other window. Also please check if this panel is a duplicate with another panel. Lastly, please close all instrumentation pop outs that were opened manually

I'm using your excellent program since quite a while and it works perfectly. I just would like to know, why it takes such a remarkable time to load the 8 displays of my B737-800. Is this due to a low data rate out of the MSFS/PMDG programs? Any chance to get this important job done faster? Thanks for any infos about and best regards

I use MSFS pop out panel manager on a single monitor.
I have different established windows (PFD, Engines, GPS 530) that I only really use at certain moments of flight and having them all open they take up a large part of the screen.
I know I can minimize them but would there be a way to make them disappear completely from the screen and appear again using a button on the keyboard or joystick or for example by double clicking on them to hide them and double clicking again in the area of the screen. copkit where are they so they appear again?

I am having problems with this app. I start Pop Out Manager and it goes through the process of trying to pop the panels out, but it fails. It then doesn't give me any option to try and reset the pop out of the panels so currently cant use it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
