The Rogue River in Southern Oregon runs from Crater Lake to the Pacific Ocean at Gold Beach. This trip starts about half way down the river at Grants Pass (3S8) and goes to the end at Gold Beach (4S1). The river geography starts narrow and steep then opens up with a great view of the river entering the ocean. There are a few airstrips tucked away to land at as well!
Installation: Standard installation which involves moving the package folder to your MSFS2020 Community folder.
Scenery: I have included a scenery package in the downloads which currently is just bears. 48 bears to be exact all unmarked for you to discover along the trip. Be sure to download this and move it to your community folder if you want bears :)
There is also a freeware Half-Moon Bar airstrip scenery available which is one of the optional landing airstrips on the route: https://flightsim.to/file/30892/or75-half-moon-bar-lodge
Plane Selection: I removed the alternate plane options. If you would like to change the plane I recommend using Mission Changer. The trip uses the Savage Cub by default. If you would prefer I compile a version with a different plane rather than use mission changer I can probably do that.
Recommended Addon - MSFS2020 Map Enhancement: I highly recommend using MSFS2020 Map Enhancement which is a freeware mod that replaces your photogrammetry with google maps (be sure to read the instructions on clearing your rolling cache). The trip looks MUCH better with a lot more detail using this mod.
DISCLAIMER: There are a few airstrips along the way that are optional to land at. The only one you must land at is Winkle Bar (OR74) as it is set as a “leg” in the bush trip. I am about 80-90% sure the other airstrips are used in real life. The trip and text-to-speech has advice on how to land at these airstrips. This advice is for the simulator only. I have no idea how pilots fly at these places in real life. I’m not a pilot.

There is also a VFR flightbook in the "Documents" folder.
