EGTE Exeter is my nearest proper airport so I couldn't look myself in the mirror until it was saved from ignominy.
This version has had the taxi system ripped out and rebuilt, erasing the rogue aprons, taxi routes and parking spaces and adding a more sensible set up with some north apron and grass parking along with the main apron.
The ground markings have been removed and redone and some custom textures added. The non bonkers aprons have been erased and closer matches have been glued on.
A ton of extra detail has been added including letting my increasingly deranged obsession with car parks run riot. The buildings and hangars on the opposite side of the airfield have been filled in. The industrial estate around the airport has been lit properly as it was pitch black at night, and of course the airport has too as that was near dark as well.
There are 3 parking spaces for helicopters on the North side of the airport where the air ambulance files from and some hangars for planes to start in on that side too.
The big arse Walker hangar has startable places along with GA spaces on the grass and the odd other one here and there.
There's still a handful of details I can't find so I'll have to smash through the gates in my monster truck to get them some day soon.
V 2.4
Is primarily about setting up the terminal with opening doors and stuff for the GSX profile that can be found here - https://flightsim.to/file/39402/egte-exeter-gsx-profile-superspud-freeware
You may thank its maker, FatGingerHead, for refining this. I simply did what I was told. I don't even use GSX so may never see it, which is rather poignant when you think about it.
Elsewhere this updates the signage where appropriate.
Tweaks the heliport as a pad or two seems to have been removed.
Some improved ground markings.
Removed the solar panels and moved the fencing in the top left corner of the airfield.
Updates the paint jobs on some of the hangars.

Also, props for adding your name at the end of the folder, and preserving my organisational sanity.
Much appreciated 😊

I think there's some weather screen for the ramp down to the apron from the terminal now but bleh whatever, looks great as it is.

Just about to update and checked my existing EGTE content and found that in addition to this addon folder I also have one named exeter-q400. According to the manifest.json it is one of yours. Perhaps included in an earlier release? It does not appear in your latest update so is it something that is now redundant and can be deleted?

I haven't been able to sim for a couple of months, now I come back I have the ( mostly unmarked ) Police helicopter static in front of the DAAS hangar doors - I thought that was someone else's scenery ( Lovell's? ) but having disabled everything in the area it's still there... any ideas? I was sure I had the open door & the HEMS bird there when I left it...

It depends on what day of the week you're there.

Thanks a lot for that stunning work. Exellent; so many Details including Indoor Rooms, and Details also in non central areas of the airport. I'm glad I landed there with the Monney on my way from EGLC to Landsend.

I don't know if this is a new problem, but a few of the buildings are now rendering on "top" of fog inside a couple of aircraft ( the freeware EC135 for example ) Ie they show up as if there's no fog, just floating in a sea of grey. That I guess is *partly* the aircraft fault, but given it's only a few buildsings & not all then it must be select shader options somewhere.
The PAPI are still at the wrong ends too! 😀 otherwise all seems ok.

I think that's likely to be something to do with weather exclusion boxes vs windscreen materials. I'll forget about the weather indoors from now on.

Great airport.
Works perfectly, looks great
and is a great upgrade for the MSFS.
I particularly like the many small details.
It is compatible with SU11,
thanks for that
