Discover Germany - Part 1

Berlin, Baltic Sea, North Sea and Elbe River

 

After the World-Update 6 it is quite a challenge to create a Bush-Trip for Germany, especially since there are thousands of historical and important places, whose selection is quite difficult. Therefore, it can only be a selection and I hope you have fun discovering Germany for yourself. In addition, all sights of the World Update 6 for Germany are flown to in the trips.

We start in Berlin: once the capital of the Prussian Kingdom, then the capital of the Reich, then the capital of the socialist state of the German Democratic Republic - divided by a wall - today the capital of the reunited Germany. We continue to the Baltic Sea, to the islands of Usedom, Rügen and Poel. Via Schleswig-Holstein we reach Helgoland, the Weser and the Elbe, which we will follow for a while.

 


Installation:

Unzip the included folder from the package into the community folder. Restart the simulator.

 


Specification:

  • The route covers 938 NM with 20 legs.
  • You fly with a Cessna Skyhawk G1000. The aircraft is interchangeable with some manual work, see exchange file. Alternatively, there is also the MissionChanger from BuffyGC.
  • The package is multilingual in the languages: English US, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese BR, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated, so there may be errors in the translation. If you have a better translation, please send it to me.
  • A GPS course is available that can be obtained. (see "Get GPS flight plan.txt")
    In addition, each waypoint is provided with a clearly visible marker. This can be switched off in the support options / navigation aids.
  • Weather is freely selectable. Live weather is preset.
  • ATC is usable.
  • The refueling button is only visible at airports with a refueling station.

Entdecke Deutschland – Teil 1

Berlin, Ostsee, Nordsee und Elbe

 

Nach dem World-Update 6 ist es schon eine Herausforderung einen Bush-Trip für Deutschland zu erstellen, zumal es tausende geschichtsträchtige und wichtige Orte gibt, deren Auswahl dann doch ziemlich schwerfällt. Von daher kann es letztlich nur eine Auswahl bleiben und ich hoffe du hast Spaß daran, Deutschland für Dich zu entdecken. Außerdem werden alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des World Update 6 für Deutschland in den Trips angeflogen.

Los geht es in Berlin: einst Hauptstadt des preußischen Königreiches, dann Reichshauptstadt, dann Hauptstadt des sozialistischen Staates der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik – geteilt durch eine Mauer – heute Hauptstadt des widervereinigten Deutschlands. Weiter geht es an die Ostsee, zu den Inseln Usedom, Rügen und Poel. Über Schleswig-Holstein gelangen wir nach Helgoland, an die Weser und die Elbe, der wir ein Stück folgen werden.

 

Installation:

Entpacke den enthaltenen Ordner aus dem Paket in den Community-Ordner. Starte den Simulator neu.

 

Spezifikation:

  • Die Route führt mit 20 Legs über 938 NM.
  • Du fliegst mit einer Cessna Skyhawk G1000. Das Flugzeug ist mit etwas Handarbeit austauschbar, siehe Exchange-Datei. Alternativ gibt es dazu auch den MissionChanger von BuffyGC.
  • Das Paket ist multilingual in den Sprachen: Englisch US, Spanisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Polnisch, Portugiesisch BR, Portugiesisch, Russisch, Niederländisch, Finnisch, Norwegisch und Schwedisch. Die grundlegende Sprache ist Deutsch. Die anderen Sprachen sind maschinell übersetzt, darum können Fehler in der Übersetzung enthalten sein. Wer eine bessere Übersetzung hat, kann sie mir bitte schicken.
  • Ein GPS-Kurs ist vorhanden, der erhalten werden kann. (siehe "Get GPS flight plan.txt")
    Zusätzlich ist jeder Wegpunkt mit einer gut sichtbaren Markierung versehen. Diese kann in den Unterstützungsoptionen / Navigationhilfen ausgeschaltet werden.
  • Das Wetter ist frei wählbar. Live-Wetter ist voreingestellt.
  • ATC ist nutzbar.
  • Der Tanken-Button ist nur auf Flughäfen mit Tankstelle sichtbar.

Ich bin erst bei germany 1. Leider geht es bei Bremerhaven nicht weiter.
Die Nadel zeigt auf den Flugplatz Bremerhaven aber die Karte zum Wegpunkt vor Bremen.
Eine Landung führ nicht zum Abschluss der Etappe. Bremerhaven wird im MSFS auch nicht als Flugplatz angezeigt, deshalb vielleicht das Problem.
Habe probiert in Bremen zu landen, auch kein Abschluss. Auch ohne AddOns geht es nicht.

PS: in Kiel wurde ich beim Etappenstart auf die Wasserbahn gestellt. Das konnte man aber mit einem Flugzeugtausch beheben.

Dennoch habe ich eine Frage: Jedes Mal wenn ich einen neuen Abschnitt starte, sehe ich in der Außenansicht die Navigationshilfen, die mich nur stören und die ich nicht benötige.

Doch selbst wenn ich diese im Unterstützungsmenü des MSFS ausschalte, so sind sie dennoch beim Start des nächsten Flugabschnitts wieder eingeschaltet. Der MSFS "behält" also die ausgeschalteten Navigationshilfen nicht.

Wie kann das geändert werden und somit dauerhaft ausgeschaltet bleiben?

can not get past leg 17, it looks like waypoint is up in the air, will not be received after landing in EDHI (finkenwerder) with message that trip is finished when plane stops 😞

Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese Rückmeldung. Der Flughafen Bremerhaven wurde nach einem Update offensichtlich entfernt, was ich nicht mitbekommen habe. Ich habe dort eine Landebahn eingerichtet und die Etappe beendet sich nun dort. Auch das Problem von Kiel sollte nun behoben sein. Bitte lade die neue Version des Bush Trips herunter. Sollte der Flug mit dem Update nicht fortgesetzt werden können (was ich nicht hoffe) hänge an den Hauptordner des Trips "-000001" an. Dann musst Du allerdings von vorne beginnen. Grüße, Koschi # # # # # # Thank you very much for this feedback. Bremerhaven airport was apparently removed after an update, which I didn't catch. I have set up a runway there and the stage now ends there. Also the problem from Kiel should be fixed now. Please download the new version of the Bush Trip. If the flight cannot be continued with the update (which I hope not) append "-000001" to the main trip folder. But then you have to start from the beginning. Greetings, Koschi

Thanks a lot for all your great bushtrips!
I am looking for a way to get the flightplan into the GPS unit of the aircraft. I understand this is blocked intentionally in MSFS bushtrips, but is there some kind of workaround?
You mention a GPS course is available and can be obtained and you refer to the FAQ. Unfortunately the FAQ section seems to be lost after the design update of fs.to. Would you mind to elaborate again?

Hallo RALF9636, so eine Schweinerei! Das habe ich noch gar nicht mitbekommen, dass die "Meistgestellten Fragen" einfach icht mehr da sind. Dann will ich es Dir noch einmal kurz beschreiben: 1. Drücke am Navigationsgerät auf Flugplan (FPL). 2. Drehe am äußeren Drehknopf darunter (FMS) auf den nächsten Wegpunkt nach dem Flugplatz, auf dem Du gerade stehst. 3. Drücke auf "Menu". Auf dem Display blinkt "Activate Leg". 4. Klicke 2x Enter, um den Flugplan zu aktivieren und dann auf "FPL", um den Flugplan zu schließen. Fertig und guten Flug :-) ------- Hello RALF9636, what a mess! I have not yet noticed that the "most frequently asked questions" are simply no longer there. Then I want to describe it to you again briefly: 1. press on the navigation device on flight plan (FPL). 2. turn the outer knob below (FMS) to the next waypoint after the airfield you are currently standing on. Press "Menu". Activate Leg" flashes on the display. 4. 4. click 2x Enter to activate the flight plan and then on "FPL" to close the flight plan. Done and have a good flight :-)

Vielen Dank dafür, dass Du diesen Bushtrip erstellt hast.

Ich habe ihn heruntergeladen und wie vorgegeben installiert.

Nun meine Frage, die Deinerseits sehr wahrscheinlich leicht zu beantworten ist:

Wie starte ich den Trip? Ich finde keine Möglichkeit darauf zuzugreifen, im FS wird er nicht angezeigt...!

Irgendwo mache ich einen Denkfehler und komme nicht weiter.

Ich habe den Fehler gefunden: der Ordner wurde zwar korrekt entpackt, ich hätte aber nicht diesen sondern den DARIN BEFINDLICHEN nehmen müssen!

vielen herzlichen Dank für Deine positive Bewertung :-)

Es tut mir leid. Die Navigationshilfen sind in der Programmierung so voreingestellt und werden aus den kompilierten Dateien bei jedem Start neu abgerufen. Gleiches gilt auch für Wetter, Uhrzeit usw. Ohne die kleine Klickorgie für ungewollte Einstellungen am Beginn geht es leider nicht.

Hallo, ich wollte das Flugzeug wechseln, habe es mit MissionChanger und auch manuell versucht. Wenn ich den Trip starten will erscheint auch oben links das gewechselte Flugzeug. Beim Klick auf "Jetzt losfliegen" aber wechselt er sofort wieder in das voreingestellte Flugzeug. Was mache ich falsch?

Hallo GerriBaldi57,

Du hast wahrscheinlich den Trip begonnen, ohne vorher das Flugzeug zu wechseln. Gehe in der Ordner [MSFS]\LocalState\MISSIONS\ACTIVITIES\ und lösche den entsprechenden SAVE-Ordner des Trips. Dann wechsle das Flugzeug und starte den Simulator.

Hello EVILVIKINGDK,

can it be that you have installed the addon Finkenwerder? Try it without addon or best remove all addons from the community folder. If the leg exits, you can copy them back in. If there are still problems, stop in the center of the runway.

The altitude should not matter. There is no landing in the air.

The error has not appeared yet. Maybe my hints will help.

Nice done bush trip. Just check the path on the map. The trip from Blankensee goes north over Fehmarn and not west to Holtenau.

Hello koord,

thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I don't understand what you mean. As far as I can see, I have not given any directions in the text. The route leads from Blankensee via Lübeck-Holstentor to Fehmarn. Please be a little more precise. I am always embarrassed about mistakes. That is why I am trying to correct them as soon as possible.
