MPLP is a long-dead airport resurrected in MSFS for use in FSE. It served the city of La Palma, Darién, Panama but has been replaced by a new airport (which IS in MSFS) a few miles to the south. In real life, MPLP's old runway is now the main street of town with many flats and shops on both sides. When authorities (in the FSE world) decided this had all been a big mistake and wanted MPLP rebuilt, I had to bulldoze all this development. This caused 2 known issues:
- Because the old runway is now a road, MSFS will have street traffic constantly driving on it. There is no way to stop this with the SDK.
- There were some streetlights and lights on the buildings I demolished. Although the 3D objects are gone, these light soures remain floating like ghosts along the sides of the runway. There is no way to get rid of these lights with the SDK. So on the plus side, they do light up the runway quite well. The down side is that it looks more like a road than a runway at night.
The PML VOR is still on top of the hill in town, so I added one of the stock VOR models for it. It makes a nice landmark.
Last time I used FSE, it counted landing near the airport as landing there, so there should be no problem with MPSE

Panama City (MPTO) is missing from the sim, simbrief recognises it and simtoolkitpro does as well, but it's not in the sim.

What?!?!?!?!?!? No MPTO in MSFS?!?!?!?!? I'll have to rectify that at once. It's where I register all my FSE planes as a "flag of convenience". Never noticed its lack because I don't actually go there :)
