Ebern-Sendelbach (EDQR)
The small airfield Ebern-Sendelbach is located north of Bamberg in northern bavaria/germany.
A somewhat unique aspect of this airfield are the power lines that run parallel to the runway and span above the apron. So when you exit the runway you will taxi right underneath them.
Also worth mentioning is the creek "Baunach" that's right behind the threshold of runway 14 and is moving along the airfield on the north eastern side. In real life the airfield sometimes gets flooded by this creek making it unusable for some time.
As stated in the description the ICAO-Code is EDQR. The radio frequency is 118.005Mhz - "Ebern-Info".
You got 2 runway starts on each end (32/14) as well as 4 parking spots for "Cold-and-Dark".
Note that this is not a 1:1 rendition of the real airfield, which means the buildings look sort of like the real ones but not identical.
Also some "freestyle" bits were added that aren't there in real life, like the playground for example.
As usual additional files are needed, namingly:
Installation:
Open the downloaded file and place the "chrispiaviation_ebern_sendelbach" folder inside the community folder. Dependencies (additional files) listed above need to be inside the community folder as well.
it was a nice challenge to find it with a C152 without GPS 😊
