Bergen Helipads

Introducing the missing helipads in Bergen:

  • ENBG - Grønneviksøren Heliport
  • ENBI - Sandviken Helipad (ENSA in this addon because of duplicate ICAO in MSFS)
  • ENBX - Haukeland Hospital Helipad

This is my first scenery for MSFS and feedback is much appreciated!

Installation

  • If you already have one or more of these heliports installed, delete them.
  • Drop one or all included airports in the pack, into your MSFS Community folder
  • Enjoy!

Recommended addons:

Known issues

  • There are terrainspikes when approaching the helipad. These disappear when you get closer. Know issue in MSFS and is on roadmap to be fixed by Asobo.

Finally final first version!
- Added smaller and custom windsock for all helipads
- Added custom pier and hangar model at ENSA (Sandviken)
- Added collision for the ENBG hangar
- Fixed lights and other objects flying in the air until you're close to airport
- Tweaked some ground under the ENBX helipad
- Tweaked flickering doors at ENBX helipad

hi, nice scenery but its not possible to spawn on them with the H145 because its not a rotorcraft in msfs. You can only spawn on helipads with a rotorcraft.

Very nice to fly around Bergen and the night light are awesome. Will be seeing you around. Vatsim had a lot off DOC missions today 🙂

Nice pack! Although because you set them as POI's instead of airports you cannot spawn on the ground, only in the air. So the change you would need to make is set it as an airport then make a runway that doesnt show and put a ramp parking in the middle of the helipad. Also, the helipad at Haukeland (ENBX) doesnt seem to appear in the sim, even though it has been downloaded properly. Other than that the scenery looks very nice.Kinds regards,Lasse

Thank you for the feedback, but that's honestly a HPG H145 issue rather than this scenery. HPG need to update their helicopter to be compatible with SU11 to be able to spawn at helipads as it's firstly introduced now :)

Thanks for your feedback :) I've noted down the issue with ENBX and working on a fix. Regarding the POI/Airport question. There's some hacks to achieve this, as you describe as well, I'll see if it's worth it, but preferably I'll wait for it to be fixed in NOV'22 MSFS update when Helicopters will get official support. Putting in runways does mess with some terraforming at times.
