C-172 Garmin 1000 Profile for Streamdeck XL (need LORBYs Axis And OHs SD plugin)
To run this you need to have AAOs plugin installed on your StreamDeck. Get it from here (look for "Plugin for the Elgato Stream Deck"). Also get the FlightTracker Plugin.
It is for the XL version (32 buttons) ONLY! I completely reworked, reorganized and updated missing and new VARs.
Features in this profile:
- Main Page
- Lights Page
- G1000 PFD Page
- G1000 MFD Page
- G1000 AP Page
- G1000 Baro Page
- G1000 NAV Page
- COM/ATC Page
- Views Page
Tested and works with the Asobo Cessna 172 Garmin 1000 version (NOT the standard C172 version). It might be possible that you have to adjust certain functions to your specific setup (especially views which are mounted to ALT-x commands). If help is needed just drop a line in the comments.
Installation:
First make sure that you have the AAO SD plugin and the C172G1000.xml scripts installed properly (import scripts within AAO).
Then just double click on the profiles provided in this download
- C172 G1000.streamDeckProfile
- Numpad.streamDeckProfile
- G1000 AP.streamDeckProfile
- G1000 COM BARO.streamDeckProfile
- G1000 MFD Base.streamDeckProfile
- G1000 PFD Base.streamDeckProfile
- G1000 NAV.streamDeckProfile

Hi!
Thanks for this! it is truly great!
Would it be possible to add in the NAV page a way to change COM and NAV frequencies? like the knobs you created for the other features (CRS, HDG etc..)
thanks!

I appreciate that you like my work. This function you are looking for is already there. If you go to the COM/NAV page you can change the freqs easily by using the COM/NAV buttons. Long press on these buttons brings you the opportunity to enter the frequencies.
cheers

Thanks for the hint. This issue has been fixed now. Please download the updated version. Also make sure you update your SD software as there has been made fixes too.

Greetings friend! I am a new user so bear with me 😊 I have the profile on my SD and I imported the XML file in AandO. The Axis and O DEMO shows the plane (cessna) loaded and a green light, but AandO shows offline mode. The buttons on the SD do nothing but I can open the scripts panel and double click the actions and they do work in the sim. Do I have to have a registered paid copy of AandO for this to completely work? Just checking before I purchase it to be sure that is my issue.

Hi,
did you also install the streamdeck plugin from AAO? Some screenshots would be nice. For further help and support pls join my discord channel.

Followed the instructions very closely, and the buttons are unresponsive. You mention that I may have to adjust certain functions for them to work. Could you elaborate on that? I'd appreciate any help.
Also, after importing, should I see "assigned axis" and "assigned buttons" populated in AAO?

Hi,
adjustments are necessary with the view options only. Some of the buttons are mounted to personally saved view points (ALT-X commands). What do you mean by buttons are not responsive? Do you see icons on the SD? You won't see anything within the AAO windows as there are no "physical" (joystick or other hardware) buttons assigned. So that is ok. The SD runs over scripts only. For help just join my discord server.

Once the Axis and Ohs plugin is installed in Stream Deck, and both of the script files are installed, is it necessary to have the AaO program, itself running for your Stream Deck profile to work correctly?

Yes of course it’s necessary to run AAO in admin mode while FS is open, otherwise you won’t get any data to your Streamdeck.

Hi ChrissG9111, thanks for sharing your profiles. Much appreciated.
FYI: no technical problems to load the profiles in AAO. The 2 XML-files(sripts) cannot be imported in AAO. It stops in the Import-box for scripting, the checkbox can be marked, but the 'proceed'-button doesn't appear? Maybe because I'v already imported other G1000/C172 scripts/XML-files in AAO? Nevertheless, they work fine.

Hi, thanks for the info. Yup, that can be possible since you already have those scripts in your AAO.

Streamdeck can not import the profiles, no error messages.

What happens if you double click on the profiles? It should be automatically imported in your SD software...check your profiles list if you don't get any error messages, they might be already in there
