The Van's RV-7 and RV-7A are two-seat, single-engine, low-wing homebuilt airplanes sold in kit form by Van's Aircraft. The RV-7 is the tail-wheel equipped version, while the RV-7A features a nose-wheel.

Absolutely fantastic. really fun to fly. The only problem i'm having on SU9 is that it gives me a low voltage warning even when the alternator is on and rpm is up on the g3x version. Not a big issue, its just a little distracting.

I've got a flight coming up in a RV12 next week, so I thought I'd get a kinda feel for it by knocking about in this for a few days. I've only got hours on the C152 real world, and briefly in a Robin. This is a world away from the C152 and I'm hoping the RV12 is like this!!

Hi,

Thanks for your excellent job.

Something I have noticed on the steam gauges version: the MP on the gauge does not reflect the simconnect en manifold pressure (which is disturbing on my home cockpit).

For example, 24 inHg in MSFS, the ENG MANIFOLD PRESSURE=20.9.

Could you do something for that?

Excellent aircraft, very well done and thanks. Only one comment and that is that the G1000 display is quite dim compared to my other a/c is there a way of brightening this in the aircraft cfg or whatever?

Nice plane, well done!

One observation: I think it's too overpowered. I took off with 2500 fpm and almost 130 kt! A few tweaks performance wise and It should be perfectly fine.

Still love flying this bird and the changes you've made by adding the G3X panel, complete 6-pack panel and adding the baggage compartment to the weight and balance page. Keep up the great work.

One thing I do miss from the original is the G1000 panel. I use your plane to get familiar with both glass panels and adding an option to bring up the G1000 or the G3X on startup would be nice. Right now I have to exit the simulator completely to switch panels. I still have your original release with the G1000 panel available in Addon linker.

Again, thanks a bunch for the great add on and keep up the great work. The plane just keeps on getting better and better.

I see that you placed the gauges in the "sex pack" that I asked for. It turned out really well. Thanks so much!

Thank you for your work, this aircraft is getting better and better.

There's one thing that irritates me. Every time I switch to VR, I sit in the "back seat" and have to move forward. Do you have the opportunity to do something about it?

Then of course I wonder if you have any plans to convert the plane to an RV-4 which is what I fly in real life and which has even better visibility and flight characteristics than the 7 '.

wow. don't know what to say, this is just an amazing plane, you work so hard on it and your constantly updating this, everything is just so clean. the attention to detail is almost unreal, the only plane I fly is literally this, its just so perfect and fun to fly. I remember downloading this when it was just released, look at it now, gauges, cant list it all lol. great plane, keep up the good work. only nick (stupid complaint) I have is the G3X doesn't have something like a gtn or another panel, it would help for lpv approaches. but take your time if you do that, it may be buggy mixing a g3x with a gtn. but great work, cant wait to see what it will look like in a month, who knows what will be added by then lol 😊

Since the last RV7 Update, I have a Problem with the Prop. I can not longer adjust the RPM with the blue knob. It behave like a fixed Prop.

A very nice version of this great GA aircraft, thank you.

I have a couple of problems though with the 1.0.8 version of the RV-7A with the G3X GNS.

I can't see/find a CDI button to set the Nav mode?

I can't see/find a CRS selector dial to adjust the Nav heading?

Anybody help?

EDIT OK I found a YT video which showed how to do it 😊

I am so sorry - but how do I get the auto pilot to work? when i click nav it toggles between blank and VOR but the plane does not respond except in HDG mode.

on the GSN you have to press the CDI button to GPS and then on autopilot turn on the Nav button
