Welcome to the Austrian Landmark Project!

The Austrian Landmark Project (ALP) is an ongoing project of Littlekrg & Troglodytus. The goal is to provide as many Landmarks, POIs and VFR-Points as possible to make flying above Austria more enjoying. Since World Update 6 was not satisfying for many Austrian Simmers we want to provide more.
On the one hand, many landmarks we created in the past have been improved, newly textured, gathered and united in this package. On the other hand, many new models have joined, some of them even animated.

How to install?

Simply drag and drop the extraced folder "littlekrg-troglodytus-austrian-landmark-project" into your community folder!
Please make sure to also install Fisherman Dave's 3D people!

Older addons are not needed anymore. Please make sure to delete or disable following addons:

* Kolnbrein Dam
* Pyramidenkogel
* Gaisberg Radio Tower
* Dobratsch Radio Tower
* Bell Tower of Altgraun

Fantastische Addons von euch, vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

Noch ein Wunsch, falls möglich:

Könntet ihr auch die Burg Strechau (bei Rottenmann in der Obersteiermark) zu den Austrian Landmarks hinzufügen?

Ich fliege öfters in der Gegend, und zur Zeit sind da nur recht unansehnliche generische Gebäude dargestellt, die halt gar nichts mit der schönen Burg dort zu tun haben.

habe ein Problem beim Pyramidenkogel, wenn man näher ran fliegt, steht plötzlich ein riesengroßer Autobus am Berg ( um ein vielfaches größer als der Turm selbst).

Ist das Problem bekannt?

GREAT! Finally someone out there to create Austrian Landmarks!

As of World update 6 I was that dissapointed not to have churches in the cities nor castles as Poi....while other world updates have( France/GB)... I say thanks a lot! Really I am from south styria... maybe you can do Schloss Seggau, Churches in the city of Leibnitz, Obervogau, Kreuzkogelwarte in Kaindorf... I wish, I pray...well

eine tolle Idee ist das! Ich hab schon ein paar POIs gesehen; bekannte und noch nicht gesehene. Es macht Spaß, Österreich auf diese Weise (neu) zu entdecken.

Vielen Dank für diese Arbeit!! Bin gespannt, was noch alles kommen wird ...

(Burg Hochosterwitz ist jetzt schön von weitem zu sehen. Allerdings habe ich sie weiß in Eriinerung. Doch das ist tatsächlich schon ein paar Jahrzehnte her. Seitdem scheint sie nicht neu gestrichen worden zu sein 😉.)

Hallo! Vielen Dank! Freut uns sehr, dass es gefällt und den Sim verbessert!! Die Überlegung LKHs einzubauen ist auf jedenfall vorhanden, es gab auch schon Anfragen dazu, aber die Zeit ist leider begrenzt 😅 Ich hoffe ich komme mal dazu, aber leider kein Versprechen!

Meine Ungeduld wächst und wächst.... während der AddOn Linker seit über einer halben Stunde versucht, diese - offenbar in jeder Hinsicht - MEGA-Szenerie zu installieren. Bin neugierig, wie lange dann der MSFS zum STarten braucht ;o)
Freue mich RIESIG, dass sich jemand unseres kleinen Landes mit den vielen POIs annimmt, und sie peu-a-peu einbaut!

Vielen Dank für den Kommentar. Kommt bestimmt noch etwas dazu! :D Das Projekt lebt so langsam vor sich hin, wenn mir etwas einfällt oder mich die Motivation packt etwas von unserer Liste zu modellieren, dann wird es hinzugefügt :)

Hallo, vielen lieben Dank für den Kommentar! Ich habe es mal auf unsere Liste mitaufgenommen. Kann aber nichts versprechen, da Burgen unglaublich aufwändig zu modellieren sind. Da sind wir meistens auf eigene Photogrammetry angewiesen! LG

Es ist wirklich faszinierend, wie die Szenerie in Österreich Dank der unermüdlichen Arbeit von Euch verbessert wird. Allerdings vermisse ich nach wie vor den Sender am Patscherkofel, welcher im Anflug auf Innsbruck weithin sichtbar ist, auch in der Nacht! nachdem LOWI bei Simmern sehr beliebt ist, wäre es doch schön, diesen Blickfang zu integrieren. DANKE!
