Looks great, but I am not quite sure why you would put the presidential seal halfway on the cargo door. In reality they emblem would be slid one way or the other so that when opened on the ground, it would not be cut in half. -Preston

There is an Asobo alternate download as a second file when you click download.

My mistake! It should now be the correct link. I must have deleted the wrong file when I updated the Salty version a week ago.

Personally I'd suggest flying the Salty version (I'm bias cause I work on it). It is way more realistic than the default Asobo version with many more features. You can download it using the Fly By Wire Installer.

Salty's mod has garbage autopilot.

Not sure why I can't comment on his mod directly but its broken af!

The Salty mod isn’t available on FlightSim.to. It’s available on the FlyByWire installer or directly from the GitHub page. I suggest downloading the development version as that is continually updated.

I work on Salty and have no issues with the autopilot especially in VNAV which has been in the aircraft for quite sometime.

Hi there, the registration isn't a texture but actually geometry which is how I do all my liveries. It's impossible for you to edit it.

I generally don't do edits to change registrations of aircrafts as they are based off the livery of a particular aircraft which includes its registration on it. This one is based on the first of the new pair of 747-8 Air Force Ones currently being modified.

Explains why I couldn't find it haha, thought i was going nuts being like .. have i missed something *checks again*. I know this one isn't wrong per say, just wanted to try make it the 28000 then update it when the new one came out.

I sent you a msg on fb but may as well ask ya here. Would you consider doing the Boeing freight livery for the 748, the one they did their testing on when launching the 748? I'm seeing this as an AI aircraft parked at the gates in some airports that don't make sense like SBGL. Any way to stop that from happening? thanks!

I'd suggest going to the aircraft.cfg file and changing the value of this line to 0.

isAirTraffic = 1 ; Is the plane usable for air traffic

I don't use MSFS AI traffic but VATSIM so haven't noticed this. Hopefully this will stop the aircraft from being selected.

I love the livery, but I think the, “United States Of America” font looks a little too bold.

The font is actually a little smaller than what is in the screenshots. Unfortunately it’s not the correct font and can’t easily modify the font to make it slightly thinner.

That livery has not been confirmed and the 2 new VC-25Bs may remain in the current livery. If the livery changes I’ll do a new one but currently it’s expected the current livery will remain.

Nice work, I request that you adjust the Presidential Seal though. The real aircraft would not have it half on half off the cargo door on the Right Hand side.

The Presidential seal is positioned in relation to the forward main deck doors which is where they are on the real aircraft. That cargo door doesn't exist on the real aircraft. It's replaced with retractable stairs into the lower deck on the port side slightly aft of the seal.

David, Great work on finalizing this livery and using the fix for the Mirroring issue.

As I mentioned earlier, I think the colors are perfect based on the current 25A.

I will enjoy this livery every time I crank up the 747 in Flight Simulator. Again, thanks!!!

Glad I can please! I absolutely love this livery out of any aircraft that has ever existed. It’s probably the most iconic 747 out there and the livery does the Queen of the Skies total justice. Have honestly watched the movie Air Force One way too many times for an Aussie.

This livery shouldn't affect any of that. I'd suggest downloading the Salty 747 Mod which adds and fixes many bugs in the Asobo aircraft.

I have Salty installed and the ND worked on all the other 747 liveries except this one. However, I did a restart on my computer and all is well now. Thanks for your help. Again , NICE job.

Oh wow my mistake. I thought it was baby blue all the way along but I'm incorrect, I had never noticed the chrome before. I'll change my initial rating.

Haha. No problem, I'm very familiar with this livery as it is my favourite design and makes the 747 look totally beautiful.

Since there isn't an official design for the VC-25B in this livery, I took some creative license and made the chrome at the front of the plane a bit longer seeing that there is a 2m added section in the 747-8 before the wing and 4m after the wing compared to the 747-400. Main bit was to get the chrome, the blue hump and the seal in correct position compared to the front door.

I'm flying her now from texas to LA, I had someone swoop in on a jet which was pretty funny. I took some liberty by changing the UI type to B747-200 just because I don't see myself installing a lot of 74s in the game so just having them all in the UI works for me. Would you consider making the Air New Zealand Pacific Wave 747? They also did a lord of the rings version but that may be a bit tricky lol
